1 Watch and learn

Learn how to say "this", "that", "these" and "those" in a sentence.

📚 Two important rules

Rule 1: use "a" with one thing

This is a tree

That is a flower

When you see ONE thing, use "a" before the word.

Rule 2: add "s" for many things

These are trees

Those are flowers

For MANY things, add "s" to the word. No "a" needed!

💡 Tip: some words end in "-es" instead of "-s" — like bench → benches, bush → bushes. You'll practice these too.
